Mining Employment Services is currently seeking an experienced Underground Mine Geologist for an exciting opportunity with a well-established gold producer in Western Australia.

This role offers the opportunity to work within an established underground mining operation, supporting safe and effective production through accurate geological interpretation, grade control and mine geology activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct underground grade control and production geology activities.
- Complete face mapping, geological sampling and structural interpretation.
- Manage and interpret geological data to support short-term mine planning.
- Assist with stope inspections, ore spotting and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate geological models and production records.
- Work closely with mining engineers and production teams to optimise ore extraction.
- Ensure geological activities are completed in accordance with site safety procedures and standards.

Requirements





- Relevant tertiary qualification in Geology.
- Previous underground gold mining experience.
- Experience in grade control, face mapping and production geology.
- Competent with geological modelling and mining software.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Current Australian manual driver's licence.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
