HSS Recruitment is currently seeking motivated and reliable Underground RC Driller's Offsiders for ongoing opportunities across various gold mining operations throughout Western Australia's Goldfields region. Underground Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling can offer a less physically demanding alternative to traditional diamond drilling, while still providing excellent exposure to underground mining operations.

- 2:1 FIFO roster – Ex Perth (Dayshift / Nightshift)
- ASAP starts available
- Temp-to-perm opportunities available after 4 months

About the Role

As an Underground RC Driller's Offsider, you will work alongside experienced Drillers, assisting with daily drilling operations while developing the skills and knowledge required to progress your career.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with underground RC drilling operations
- Handling sample bags, tooling and associated equipment
- Supporting the setup and operation of drilling equipment
- Conducting basic equipment inspections and maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and secure working environment
- Communicating effectively with Drillers and underground personnel




- Following all site safety procedures and underground mining requirements

About You

We are looking for hardworking, safety-conscious individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in building a career in underground drilling. To be considered, you must have:

- Current National Police Clearance
- Full Australian working rights
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Strong communication skills – essential
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
- A positive attitude towards safety and teamwork
- Availability for an ASAP start

Highly Regarded:

- Previous underground mining experience
- Experience as an RC or Diamond Driller's Offsider
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with drilling equipment
