About the role

Amici Wine Bar & Deli is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to take the lead, keep things running smoothly and help drive the venue forward. You'll oversee the day-to-day running of Amici, lead and develop the team, maintain high standards across service and operations, and look for opportunities to grow the business. You'll work closely with the owners to bring the vision for Amici to life.

- Help shape the menu by collaborating with chefs on new dishes, specials and seasonal offerings
- Work closely with the owners to bring the vision for Amici to life

- Contribute ideas while working collaboratively to achieve the bigger picture

About you

- Solid experience in venue, restaurant, bar or floor management
- A natural leader with great communication skills and the ability to think on your feet
- High standards across service, presentation and operations




- Understanding of the commercial side of hospitality, including labour costs, stock control and sales performance
- A genuine interest in food, wine and creating a great guest experience
- Current RSA certification, and a working knowledge of ACT liquor licensing requirements
- Availability to work a roster that includes evenings and weekends
- Valid and current right to work in Australia
