Venue Manager – Pocket & Makaveli

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, hands on Evening Manager to oversee evening service across Pocket and Makaveli in Bondi. You’ll lead the team, manage service, and ensure both venues run smoothly while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee nightly operations and lead the front-of-house team.
- Manage bookings, guest experience and service standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
- Manage closing procedures, cash handling and end-of-night reporting.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with venue policies, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You
- Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Confident managing busy services and resolving issues independently.
- Reliable, proactive and hands-on, with a robust eye for detail.
- Available to work evenings, including weekends.

Pay: $70,800.00 – $85,000.00 per year
