We’re partnering with an established and growing IT solutions and managed services provider looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead its sales team through its next phase of growth.

The business delivers a broad portfolio of technology solutions across end-user computing, infrastructure, networking, cloud, software licensing, cybersecurity and managed services, working with leading global technology vendors.

Sales Manager

The Role Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll lead and develop a team spanning Account Managers, Internal Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives, creating a proactive, accountable and commercially focused sales culture.

You’ll combine strategic planning with hands-on leadership, coaching the team to win current business, grow existing accounts and improve sales performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Execute go-to-market strategies to drive revenue, gross profit and market share.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales team, improving prospecting, pipeline progression, negotiation and closing.
- Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, forecasting processes and performance expectations.
- Build strong relationships with key technology vendors and develop joint sales initiatives.
- Drive account planning, territory management, customer retention and new business development.
- Monitor pipeline, conversion rates, gross profit and individual team performance through Salesforce.
- Improve sales processes, reporting, onboarding and performance management.
- Support major tenders, negotiations and strategic customer opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard and develop sales talent to support future growth.




- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

About You You’re a commercially minded sales leader with a proven ability to build capable teams, improve sales performance and deliver profitable growth within the IT industry.
You’ll ideally have:

- 7+ years’ experience in IT/ICT sales, including at least 3 years in sales management or team leadership.
- A strong track record of achieving revenue and gross profit targets.
- Experience selling technology solutions across infrastructure, end-user computing, cloud, networking, software or managed services.
- Strong coaching, mentoring and performance management skills.
- Experience with go-to-market strategy, territory planning, pipeline management and forecasting.
- The ability to build productive vendor relationships and drive joint sales initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and customer relationship management.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM and Microsoft 365.

Highly Regarded
- Experience with enterprise or Federal Government customers.
- Knowledge of vendor and distributor programs, incentives and joint marketing initiatives.
- Experience developing sales onboarding programs and structured ramp-up plans.
- Familiarity with technology quoting tools, vendor portals and procurement processes.
