Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Young Accountant (YA) recent starter to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to begin their career in accountancy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Support the team in managing accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Help with the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts
- Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation




- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required
- Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance accounting skills

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
