The Role

Step into fast-paced operating theatre environments and provide safe, high-quality perioperative care across a variety of surgical procedures.

Depending on your experience and the requirements of each facility, your responsibilities may include:

- Performing scrub and scout/circulating duties throughout surgical procedures.





- Preparing and maintaining sterile fields, surgical instruments and equipment.

- Anticipating surgical team requirements and supporting surgeons and anaesthetic teams.

- Maintaining strict aseptic technique, infection prevention and patient safety standards.

- Monitoring patient wellbeing and supporting safe, efficient theatre workflows.

- Completing accurate clinical documentation and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

- Recent operating theatre experience, with demonstrated Scrub/Scout competency.

- Ideally, at least two years of relevant theatre experience.

- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, infection control and perioperative safety.

- Confidence adapting to different hospital environments, surgical teams and procedures.

- Qualified communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
