Full-Time & Casual Front of House Team: Waitstaff & Bartenders

At Makan, we bring people together through Malaysian food and warm hospitality. We’re looking for enthusiastic waitstaff and bartenders to join our Front of House team, with full-time and casual positions available.

If you’re friendly, reliable and passionate about great service, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll bring:

- Previous experience in a similar restaurant, ideally two years or more
- Excellent communication and a warm, welcoming personality
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- The ability to stay organised during busy service
- Availability for a mix of weekdays, evenings and weekends
- A hands-on attitude and willingness to support your team

You’ll be:

- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive service
- Taking orders accurately and confidently explaining our menu
- Maintaining Makan’s standards for table presentation, cleanliness and service




- Working closely with the kitchen and Front of House team to keep service running smoothly

Roles available:

- Waitstaff: Confident taking orders, serving food and drinks, and managing a section with care.
- Bartenders: Experienced preparing drinks, keeping the bar organised and delivering consistent quality.

Pay: $33.85 – $40.62 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
