Café René is looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Breakfast Cook / Café Chef to join our established and supportive team!

Offering an Australian–French fusion menu, we're looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in their work and is confident managing a small kitchen independently.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience working in a busy café or breakfast kitchen.
- Confidence working independently and managing the kitchen pass during service.
- Experience preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes.
- Good basic food preparation, cooking and knife skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining food quality and presentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A hands-on attitude towards all kitchen duties, including food preparation, cleaning and washing dishes.
- A current Food Handler's Certificate.
- Reliability, a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a small team.




- Genuine availability and commitment to regular weekend shifts is essential.

What We Offer
- Approximately 30 hours per week.
- Daytime shifts, generally between 6:30 am and 3:00 pm.
- No evening or night service.

Formal Chef Qualifications Aren't Essential! We're more interested in practical café kitchen experience, efficiency, reliability and a excellent attitude.
