About You

An experienced lead carpenter looking for the next step to lead the site

- n

A hands-on site leader who takes pride in workmanship and enjoys building strong relationships with your team and stakeholders.

- n

Previous experience on commercial construction projects

n
- n

Looking for fast growth in commercial site supervising and team leadership

n
- n

Strong understanding of construction sequencing and quality finishes

n
- n

Excellent leadership and communication skills

n
- n

Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams

n
- n

Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices

n
- n

Current Construction White Card

n
- n

Current Driver Licence

n

Trade qualification in Carpentry or related field

n
- n

QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (preferred)

n
- n

Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction (preferred)

n

The Role

n

Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Director, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day supervision of commercial construction sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities

n
- n





Manage subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour

n
- n

Maintain strict compliance with WHS and quality requirements

n
- n

Conduct site meetings and liaise with clients and consultants

n
- n

Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction

n
- n

Identify and resolve site issues proactively

n
- n

Maintain site records and provide regular progress updates

n
- n

Ensure projects are delivered on time

n
