Reporting into the Finance Manager of this high profile property and hospitality group, this is a varied, commercial role, supporting the property development function.

- Revenue & cash oversight: Review daily Wirely takings and petty cash, reconcile revenue between the general ledger and Wirely, and complete daily and weekly bank, cash and clearing account reconciliations.
n
- Team guidance: Support and check the work of offshore team members, and resolve clearing account queries promptly.
n
- Month-end close: Take ownership of month-end processes and reporting for your assigned entities, managing timetables and delivering to agreed deadlines.
n
- Accruals, prepayments and journals: Prepare and maintain schedules, journals and month-end adjustments, including subledger entries, and review general ledger allocations regularly.
n
- Inventory and payroll accounting:



Handle stock reconciliations and journals, along with payroll reconciliations and other key accounting tasks.
n
- Management reporting: Prepare monthly venue P&Ls; and balance sheet reconciliations, analyse results against budget/forecast, and deliver insights that inform decisions.
n
- Business partnering and improvement: Work with operations and venue teams to keep reporting accurate and timely, lead process improvements, standardise procedures, and support onboarding of new businesses into the finance systems (D365 and Wirely).

- Audit, tax and ad hoc support: Assist with half-year and annual audits, valuations, payroll tax and FBT returns, the annual budget and forecasting cycle, and ad hoc analysis as needed.

You are an ambitious CA or CPA qualified Commercial Accountant, with strength across both financial control and FP&A; (including operational stakeholder management and analysis). OR - you are a high achieving 1st time mover from audit or busines advisory.
