Nurse Generation is partnering with a well-regarded aged care provider to recruit an experienced Clinical Governance Specialist for a short-term contract roughly one month.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a governance-focused clinician who enjoys working at a strategic level and influencing quality outcomes across multiple aged care services. The role is based within a corporate environment and focuses on organisation-wide clinical governance, quality, risk and compliance activities rather than direct resident care or facility-based support.

About the Rolen

As the Clinical Governance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting clinical excellence, quality improvement and regulatory compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing expert clinical governance advice and guidance

n
- n

Supporting quality, risk management and compliance programs

n
- n

Reviewing, developing and maintaining clinical policies, procedures and frameworks

n
- n

Monitoring clinical indicators and quality outcomes

n
- n

Supporting audit, accreditation and regulatory activities

n
- n

Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

n
- n

Interpreting aged care legislation, standards and best practice requirements

n
- n





Collaborating with operational leaders to strengthen governance and quality systems

n
- n

Desirable: relevant postgraduate education.

About Youn

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- n

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

n
- n

Demonstrated experience in Clinical Governance, Quality, Risk or Compliance within aged care

n
- n

Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory environment

n
- n

Experience with clinical audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities

n
- n

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

n
- n

Strong analytical, problem-solving and report-writing capabilities

n
- n

The ability to work independently while influencing outcomes across multiple services

n
