Key Responsibilities:

- Consult with clients to understand their haircare needs, preferences and desired styles.
- Perform professional haircuts, styling, blow-dries and finishing techniques.
- Provide hair colouring services, including highlights, balayage, colour correction and other colour treatments, according to demonstrated skills.
- Perform hair treatments, straightening, perming and other specialised services where qualified.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, treatments and home haircare products.
- Maintain high standards of client service, hygiene and workplace safety.
- Prepare and maintain salon equipment, tools and workstations.
- Keep up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques and products.
- Maintain client records and appointments as required.
- Work collaboratively with salon colleagues to ensure an excellent client experience.





Essential Requirements:

- Relevant hairdressing qualification or equivalent recognised skills and experience.
- Demonstrated practical experience in a professional hair salon.
- Strong skills in cutting, styling, blow-drying and haircare.
- Knowledge of hair colouring techniques and chemical treatments appropriate to the role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A professional attitude, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

- Experience in advanced colouring, balayage and colour correction.
- Knowledge of current hair fashion trends and specialised hair treatments.
- Experience building client relationships and recommending retail haircare products.
