About the Role

Bakers Delight Kilmore is looking for a dedicated and skilled baking professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about producing high-quality baked goods and working in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare, mix, knead, and shape dough for a wide range of bread and specialty products

- Bake products in accordance with recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards

- Monitor fermentation, proofing, and oven temperatures to achieve optimal baking results

- Ensure all baked goods are fresh, visually appealing, and ready for customer display

- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment in line with food safety regulations

- Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering, and inventory management

- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and sales targets

- Support product merchandising and maintain attractive in-store displays

Requirements





- Relevant qualification in baking or a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial bakery

- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques

- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in a high-volume setting

- Strong time management skills with flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays

- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and quality standards
