The Role

Access Aged Care is inviting expressions of interest from Geriatricians across Australia to provide regular telehealth services to residents in Residential Aged Care Homes. Work from home anywhere in Australia, with flexible weekday sessions to suit your availability.

We manage scheduling and service coordination and provide clinical and administrative support, including a dedicated nurse at the resident's end during consultations.

We would welcome interest from Geriatricians who can commit to at least three hours per week. The role is similar in structure to a hospital ward round delivered virtually. You will complete progress notes, manage acute issues and support ongoing clinical care throughout each virtual round.

All required software, training and ongoing support will be provided.

Requirements

- Current specialist registration with AHPRA in Geriatric Medicine.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of three hours per week.
