Job Description

You'll be the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors: often the calm, reassuring voice on the phone for someone who's anxious about a diagnosis or a procedure. Behind the scenes, you'll keep the practice running smoothly. Most of your work is done remotely from a supplied laptop, with 5 half-days at the Wesley Clinic rooms each fortnight - the rest is for working from home on a regular schedule within weekdays, 8:30am-4:00pm (with lunch break), $35-$45 per hour depending on experience. Available as one near-full-time position, or split across two part-time roles.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Manage clinic bookings, procedure scheduling and theatre lists
n
- Answer calls and respond to patient enquiries with care and professionalism
n
- Coordinate referrals, correspondence and patient reminders
n
- Process Medicare, DVA, private health fund and gap payments (Gentu/Eclipse)
n
- Liaise with referring doctors, radiology, lung function and sleep study providers
n

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently at home,



without needing close long-term supervision

- Solid administration background; medical admin experience desirable but not essential
n
- High attention to detail and able to juggle competing priorities
n
- Discreet, trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information
n
- Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Word/Excel; experience with Gentu/Eclipse a bonus
n
- Calm under pressure and adaptable - while still a genuine team player when you're on-site
