Are you organised, reliable and looking for a role with room to grow? Our busy community pharmacy in Mackay is looking for a hands-on team member to take care of deliveries and stock control, with a training pathway in pharmacy work for the right person.

What you'll do n

n
- Deliver prescriptions and pharmacy orders to customers' homes, retirement villages and community-based facilities
n
- Plan efficient daily delivery runs and make sure every delivery goes out on time
n
- Handle medicines with care, including keeping refrigerated items cold during transport
n
- Confirm customer details and collect signatures or proof of delivery where required
n
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues back to the pharmacy
n
- Keep the work car clean, organised and report any maintenance needs
n
- Receive, check and put away wholesaler and supplier deliveries
n
- Manage stock levels, ordering, rotation and date checking
n
- Keep the shelves, dispensary stock areas and storeroom organised
n




- Learn pharmacy operations and support the team on the floor as your training progresses
n

What we’re looking for nn
- A current, full Australian driver's licence (essential) and a safe driving record
n
- Local knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas, or the ability to learn it quickly
n
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
n
- Discreet and professional when dealing with customers' medications and personal information
n
- Comfortable with basic computer systems (training provided on our dispensing and stock software)
n
- Physically able to lift and move stock between locations
n
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude
n
