Australasian Music Supplies (AMS) is looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our distribution centre in Clayton South, Melbourne.

n

This is a hands-on position primarily focused on packing customer orders , with some picking, assisting with container unloading and general warehouse duties.

n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and can also work independent to get the job done.

Our busy distribution centre in Melbourne's south‑eastern suburbs plays an important role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently.

The Role n

As a Warehouse Assistant, your primary responsibility will be packing customer orders ready for dispatch.

n

Approximately 90% of your day-to-day duties will involve packing , with the remaining time supporting other warehouse activities as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accurately packing musical instruments and accessories for customer orders

n
- n

Ensuring products are packed securely and correctly for dispatch

n
- n

Checking orders and maintaining a high level of attention to detail

n
- n

Assisting with picking customer orders when required

n
- n

Assisting the warehouse team with unloading shipping containers

n
- n

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

n
- n

Performing general warehouse duties and housekeeping

n
- n

Working efficiently to support daily warehouse operations and dispatch requirements

n

This is a full-time position operating during standard business hours , based at our Clayton South warehouse.

Good communication and basic literacy skills

Previous warehouse, packing or distribution experience would be an advantage, but we're also interested in applicants with the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

n

Knowledge of musical instruments and accessories would be beneficial but is not essential.
