We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation based in North Ryde on a 3-month casual contract . This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

About the Role n

Reporting to the Payroll Services Manager, you will be responsible for processing payroll across a large and diverse workforce while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Processing weekly and/or fortnightly payrolls
n
- Ensuring payroll accuracy and data integrity
n
- Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation
n
- Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
n
- Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations
n
- Maintaining employee records and payroll documentation
n
- Supporting payroll projects and process improvements
n




- Assisting with compliance requirements, including payroll reporting obligations
n

About You nn
- 2-5 years' payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
n
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
n
- Experience working with awards and enterprise agreements
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
n
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
n
- KRONOS experience is highly desirable
n
- Exposure to SAP Payroll will be highly regarded
n
