This role will play a critical part in financial reporting, compliance, month-end close activities, audit support, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Our client is a leading multinational organisation seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its finance team on an initial 6-month temporary role, with a strong likelihood of transitioning into a permanent position.

Description

- Managing month-end close activities, including journals and financial reporting requirements
n
- Preparing monthly management reports, cost centre analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Assisting with quarterly reporting requirements for overseas head office
n
- Supporting external audits and preparing audit-ready schedules and reconciliations
n
- Assisting with statutory financial statements and compliance obligations
n
- Managing indirect tax requirements, including GST, FBT,



and withholding tax reporting
n
- Processing bank reconciliations, direct debits, and intercompany transactions
n
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, governance frameworks, and accounting policies
n
- Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives across finance operations
n

Profile

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification
n
- Experience within Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a similar role preferably within a multinational organisation
n
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
n
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP system experience
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
n
