About the Role

Specialty Breads Pty. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and organised Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee inventory management, supply coordination, warehousing and distribution operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of ingredients, packaging materials and finished bakery products while maintaining stock availability, coordinating customer orders and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage inventory levels of ingredients, packaging materials and finished bakery products to meet operational and customer requirements.
- Oversee stock control, monitor inventory records and investigate discrepancies or shortages.
- Coordinate daily customer orders, picking, packing and dispatch activities, including deliveries to major retailers and other customers.
- Plan and manage delivery schedules to ensure accurate and timely distribution of products.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport providers and drivers to coordinate incoming supplies and outgoing deliveries.
- Work closely with the production team to forecast demand and ensure sufficient stock availability.
- Oversee warehouse storage arrangements, stock rotation and inventory handling to minimise wastage and maintain product quality.
- Supervise warehouse and dispatch staff,



allocate daily duties and monitor operational performance.
- Resolve supply and distribution issues, including delivery delays, damaged products, incorrect orders and stock shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, customer orders and dispatch activities.
- Review and improve inventory management, warehousing and distribution procedures to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant workplace health and safety, food handling and storage requirements.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in supply, inventory, warehouse or distribution management.
- Strong understanding of stock control, order fulfilment and transport coordination.
- Ability to plan inventory requirements and coordinate supply with production schedules.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage daily warehouse and dispatch operations.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery production or FMCG distribution will be highly regarded.
