Pre-booked appointments with local homeowners who asked for a solar or battery quote, by phone or in their home. Choose your own hours. Retainer for your first 6 weeks.

Astra Solar designs and installs solar and home battery systems for households across the ACT, NSW and Tasmania. Our in-house lead generation team books the appointments. Most are by phone, and many homeowners prefer to meet face to face, which is where a local consultant makes the difference. Your job is to understand each household’s power bills and design the system they’ll say yes to.

What you get

- Appointments booked for you by our lead generation team, with homeowners who asked to talk to us.

- You choose your own schedule in our CRM. We don’t set your hours.

- Your own approach. There’s no script to read, and you’re free to bring in your own customers too.

- Commission on every sale you make that installs, paid in regular pay runs.

- A retainer for your first 6 weeks while you build your pipeline: $1,090.91 a week plus GST, or $1,200 a week if you’re GST-registered.

- It’s paid for weeks you’re available 5 days,



for at least 6 appointments a day.

- It’s an advance against your commission, not a wage. While you’re with us, it’s repaid only from commission above $2,500 in a pay run.

- You never repay it from your own pocket.

- The full terms are in the contract.

- Work from our purpose-built CRM: your diary, each customer’s full history and our design tools in one place, on your phone or laptop.

- Support from an experienced sales team.

What we’re looking for

- Phone appointments are the core of the role. If you can also drive to home appointments around Canberra and surrounds, even better.

- Proven results in phone, in-home or consultative sales, where you were paid on what you sold. Solar experience isn’t required, although it will be favoured.

- An ABN, or willing to get one before you start.

- A laptop, a phone and reliable internet for phone consultations.

- Honest selling. Our customers are making a big decision for their home, and we only sell what they need.
