Treasure Island Childcare Centre - seeking a centre cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Casual or Part time

Monday to Friday , minimum 5 hours per day. Additional hours may be available.

Must Have

- Valid Paid Blue Card

- Have NO restrictions for working with children

- Mandatory Foundation Child Safety Training

- Ability to complete Advanced Child Safety Training within the required time frame

- Food safety Certificate

- Food safety Supervisor Certificate or ability to complete within 90 days

- The ability to meet and follow all child safe regulations policies and procedures

Duties Include :

- Meal preparation

- Cleaning

- keep a safe hygienic kitchen

- keep all serving areas clean and hygienic





- regular deep cleaning of equipment and food service/preparation areas

- Maintain and follow all food safety regulations

- Follow and implement dietary and allergy requirements of children

- Complete all required food safety forms

- Attending staff meetings

- Participating in feedback, reflections and staff appraisals

- Comply with model code (no personal phone use)

- Meeting all child safe regulations including attending professional development or completing training regularly
