The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established, privately owned Australian organisation seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Brisbane CBD finance team.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad, hands-on role offering exposure across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the business.

The Role

- Manage month-end and year-end processes, including journals and reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports across multiple entities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and variance analysis.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
- Assist with statutory compliance and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.




- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights.

About You

- CA/CPA qualified with strong financial accounting experience.
- Confident managing month-end, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Strong Excel and ERP systems skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership.
