We're a proudly Australian, second-generation family-owned business, and we're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to join the team at our flagship Springvale store.

About the Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead the Springvale team and create an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

You'll be hands-on across all areas of the business - selling, coaching, merchandising, customer service and day-to-day store operations, while stepping up to lead the store when the Store Manager is away.

You'll help:

- Lead, motivate and support a small but high-performing sales team
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Coach team members to improve their confidence, product knowledge and sales performance
- Drive sales and help the store achieve its targets and KPIs
- Maintain high standards of presentation and visual merchandising
- Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team development
- Take ownership of the store when acting as Manager on Duty
- Build on a positive team culture and uphold the standards of our flagship Springvale store

Who Are We Looking For?

You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, loves delivering excellent customer experiences and is ready to take on a leadership role within a growing business.

You'll ideally have:

- Previous retail leadership, supervisor, senior sales or 2IC experience
- A strong track record in sales and customer service
- The confidence to coach, support and motivate others
- A hands-on leadership style, where you'll thrive selling alongside your team
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities
- The confidence to take responsibility for the store when required
- A positive attitude and genuine desire to see your team succeed

Furniture experience is not required. We provide comprehensive in-person and online training, giving you the product knowledge, systems and support you need to succeed.
