We are looking for a diligent part-time receptionist for our busy Specialist Centre that provides services in Psychiatry, Psychology and Paediatrics.

Our friendly, family-focused and fast paced practice is looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and works well in a small team. The applicant must be discreet and empathetic to patient needs whilst navigating a busy and dynamic professional environment. They must have a positive attitude towards work, use initiative and have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ideally, the applicant would have previous medical reception experience, be proficient in medical computer software and familiar with the nuance of a specialist clinic. Knowledge of Halaxy medical software would be a outstanding advantage.

Past experience working in the mental health sector would be highly favourable.

This position would be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

- Answering telephones promptly, welcoming patients, booking appointments,



taking payments and processing Medicare/DVA claims.

- Processing new referrals, scanning and general administrative duties.

- Providing administrative support to the clinicians, practice management and adjacent teams as required.

The applicant must be available to work 3 days a week, Monday + Tuesday 9:30am-6pm and Friday 8:45am-5:15pm in our Canberra office.

The successful applicant will join a supportive office environment, have access to wellbeing initiatives and free parking, and will receive a remuneration of $39.15 per hour.
