Our client is a private equity-backed business based in Brisbane. With an active M&A; agenda across both buy-side and sell-side transactions, the business is entering a pivotal phase of growth.

About the Role
This 9 to 12 month contract sits within a lean finance team, working directly with the CEO and CFO across three live transactions. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day deal workload, act as the internal point of contact for the appointed investment bank and drive each deal from diligence through to close.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

- Manage financial due diligence on a small buy-side acquisition through to close by end of 2026
- Lead commercial analysis and diligence management on a larger buy-side acquisition, including board pack preparation
- Coordinate vendor due diligence (financial, commercial and legal)
- Act as the internal point of contact for the appointed investment bank

Skills and Experience

- Background in transaction services or financial due diligence




- Solid hands-on experience across multiple transactions, ideally both buy-side and sell-side
- Self-sufficient and comfortable delivering with minimal support in a small team
- Happy to roll up your sleeves
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, boards and external advisers
