About the role

The Perfect Recruit is looking for experienced HC drivers for a well-established cold storage and transport company in Derrimut. This is local refrigerated delivery work, a Monday to Friday role with a reputable client.

Key responsibilities

- 6:30am start with trucks mostly pre-loaded for immediate departure

- Complete around 8 drops a day of refrigerated freight with no dangerous goods

- One load-out a day: finish your run and return to base

- Drive automatic Volvo twin-steer rigids, Volvo prime movers or automatic Mercedes Sprinter vans

- Monitor reefer temperatures and use an electronic POD system

- Wash your truck and keep it in positive condition

About you

- HC licence with at least 1 year of driving experience

- Refrigerated freight experience

- Comfortable driving automatic heavy rigids





- Pre-employment medical and VicRoads driver history report required

- Well presented, reliable and respectful

- Accept a strict no-smoking policy, on site and in the trucks

- Your own safety boots and everything else supplied!

- Nice to have: LF forklift licence and electric pallet jack experience
