ABOUT THE ROLE

Mentone Grammar is seeking a Mathematics Teacher for a full time position, commencing in January 2027. We have a permanent and/or 12-month fixed term contract role available.

ABOUT YOU

You are a VIT-registered secondary teacher who brings energy, aptitude, professionalism, and a genuine passion for education. You’re confident in guiding and inspiring students, while maintaining strong classroom practice and high standards.

You will also bring:

- Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics across a range of years from Year 7-10/11





- A commitment to both the academic and personal growth of students

- Passionate about working with young people and are committed to their wellbeing and safety

- Able to demonstrate a strong understanding and application of explicit teaching practices

- Experience engaging students with a variety of learning styles and capabilities

- Strong communication and collaboration skills and are a team player

- A growth mindset and dedication to ongoing professional development
