About the role

Lawcon is looking for an experienced Excavator / Skid Steer Operator who takes pride in their work, operates machinery safely and efficiently, and enjoys being part of a reliable, supportive team. You'll have the chance to put your operating skills to use across a variety of projects, working alongside a team that values practical experience, cooperation and a job well done.

Key responsibilities

- Operate excavators and skid steer machinery safely, confidently and accurately across a range of civil and construction works
- Undertake site preparation, earthworks, final trim, trenching, backfilling, levelling and concrete preparation
- Work to plans, levels and site requirements
- Operate machinery safely around ground crew and other trades
- Assist with general site duties when required
- Maintain machinery, equipment and a clean, organised worksite

About you

- Proven experience operating excavators and skid steer machinery
- Experience in site preparation, earthworks, final trim, trenching, backfilling,



levelling and concrete preparation
- Strong understanding of worksite safety and working around ground crew and other trades
- Positive, practical attitude and willingness to assist with general site duties when required
- Commitment to maintaining machinery, equipment and a clean, organised worksite
- Current White Card and driver's licence
