We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our friendly team and be part of an exciting time of growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, food and tourism, strong customer service skills and the confidence to lead and support a team.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience in wine, hospitality, tourism or a related industry, with tertiary qualifications in wine, food or hospitality considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities

- Supervision of daily staff and assisting CD Manager in developing new events and experiences

- Continually improve and work upon the wine tasting experience for the customer

- Develop ideas and work with cooks for seasonal menu items as we grow the food sector

- Maintain and manage ordering of all food supplies

- Assistance with functions, events and interstate trade shows

- Full-time position (flexible) with a minimum of 2 weekends in a rostered month

About you

- Wine knowledge: The ability to confidently evaluate and describe wine styles, varieties and characteristics

- Sales experience: Ideally, previous experience in wine sales, with the ability to engage customers and grow sales

- Leadership:



Experience in supervising a team

- Hospitality and food: A strong hospitality background and an interest in regional food

- Customer service: A genuine commitment to delivering strong customer service, with good communication and interpersonal skills

- Digital confidence: Good computer skills and experience using POS systems, online booking platforms and Microsoft Office 365

- Essential qualification: A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
