The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be the go-to analyst for understanding what’s driving performance across customers, products and the wider business. You’ll work with Finance, Operations and senior stakeholders to turn complex data into transformative recommendations.
This is a genuinely analytical role. You’ll spend your time in the detail, building models, testing assumptions and uncovering the story behind the numbers, then presenting your findings to people who will act on them. You’ll be encouraged to question the status quo, and there’s a clear pathway to a more senior commercial role for those who deliver.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Analysing customer, product and business performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Building and maintaining financial models that support pricing, profitability and investment decisions
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning with robust,



well-tested analysis
- Developing commercial business cases and evaluating current opportunities
- Digging into variances and getting to the “why” behind the numbers
- Designing reporting and dashboards that drive action, not just information
- Finding opportunities to streamline and automate manual analysis
- Presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Sales

What You’ll Bring

- CA or CPA qualified, or well progressed towards completion
- A strong background in commercial finance, business analysis or FP&A;
- Advanced Excel and modelling skills, with the ability to turn complex data into a clear message
- A naturally curious mindset: you ask “why” and “what if” before anyone else does
- The commercial judgement to move beyond reporting and recommend what the business should do
- The confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Exposure to FMCG, logistics, supply chain or consumer goods will set you apart
