You will work across a broad range of asset classes, including Australian and international equities, derivative products and digital assets, partnering closely with an experienced Australian and global compliance team.

The Role

As a Compliance Officer, you will act as a trusted advisor and key contributor across the compliance function, working closely with other compliance team members. This role combines hands-on delivery with the opportunity to help uplift capability, and support business growth in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Trade monitoring and surveillance activities across multiple asset classes and jurisdictions
- AML/CTF transaction monitoring, including complex investigations and escalations
- Manage compliance incidents and breaches
- Support regulatory engagement, including complaints handling and liaison with relevant authorities
- Contribute to the development, enhancement,



and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures

About You

- 3+ years’ experience in compliance within Australian financial services, within trading or markets environments
- Robust exposure to trade/market surveillance, monitoring, and regulatory compliance obligations
- Experience with AML/CTF transaction monitoring and investigations
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (e.g. NASDAQ SMARTS or similar) is required
- Exposure to, or strong interest in, digital assets / crypto markets
- Proven ability to interpret regulation and translate into practical business outcomes
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Proactive, commercially astute, and solutions-oriented mindset
