The Opportunity

We’re looking for our next extraordinary team member to join our Food & Beverage team as a Food & Beverage Attendant at Champagne Bar.

Located in the heart of Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, Champagne Bar is a vibrant space where French flair, exceptional beverages and genuine hospitality come together. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while delivering attentive and personalised service.

From greeting guests and guiding them through our menu to taking orders, delivering food and beverages and creating those little moments that make a visit memorable, you’ll bring energy, personality and a genuine passion for hospitality to every service.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and engage with guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from arrival through to farewell.
- Provide attentive, personalised table and beverage service in line with Sofitel standards.




- Take accurate food and beverage orders and confidently answer questions about the menu and beverage offering.
- Recommend food, champagne, wine and beverages based on guest preferences.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Maintain a solid knowledge of the Champagne Bar menu, beverage selection and current offerings.
- Anticipate guest needs and look for opportunities to create memorable moments throughout their experience.
- Respond to guest requests and feedback professionally, taking ownership wherever possible.
- Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and organisation of guest and service areas throughout each shift.
- Work closely with the Bartending, Kitchen and wider Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, stock replenishment and general operational requirements.
- Maintain responsible service of alcohol, food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
