Job Description

As our Handyperson, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel, helping to provide a safe, functional and welcoming setting for our guests and team members. You will work independently for much of your shift while remaining connected with operational teams to ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

- Completing general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
- Conducting daily plant and equipment inspections and reporting faults.
- Responding to maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas.
- Prioritising tasks and attending to urgent maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintaining accurate records of completed and outstanding maintenance work.
- Ensuring tools, equipment and workshop areas are maintained safely and professionally.
- Working collaboratively with operational departments to minimise disruption to guests.
- Following all WHS, environmental and hotel compliance requirements.
