Job Description

- Leadership opportunity based at our new satellite class within Malek Fahd Islamic School
- Full-time (5 days per week), classroom teaching role, commencing Term 1, 2027
- $94,155 - 133,009k + special education allowance $3,866 p.a. + superannuation
- Work with the team at Aspect South East Sydney School, as part of our new satellite class within Malek Fahd Islamic School, based at Greenacre, NSW.

As Leader of Learning & Wellbeing, you will collaborate with a team of specialists including teachers, teacher's aides, school therapists, coordinators, administrators and other Aspect staff to deliver our evidence-informed, student-focused autism-specific approach - the Aspect Approach. Use a person-centred and family-focused approach to ensure the delivery of quality educational standards. As a core member of the school's Learning Support Team (LST), you will lead and supervise the teaching team and partner parents, carers and other members of the school community. You will be required to undertake full-time teaching responsibilities.

Aspect South East Sydney School provides placement for approximately 180 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 18 years of age. The School’s main sites are at Peakhurst, Marrickville and Loftus, and there are 9 satellite classes within Sydney Catholic schools and Department of Education schools across the South East Sydney region of Sydney.
