Disability Support Worker | Weekdays

PORT MELBOURNE / KENSINGTON| MONDAY - FRIDAY 9AM - 5PM

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Disability Support Worker (DSW) to support clients in

•Location: Port Melbourne / Kensington
•Shifts: Monday - Friday (Day) 8am - 5pm
•Start: Immediate start preferred
•Experience: Must have experience as a DSW working with NDIS clients (not just aged care)
•Must be confident working with clients with complex care needs including MND, Parkinson’s and behaviours of concern.
•Training: Must have Manual Handling training and experience
•Must be available for minimum 3 days of the week

Responsibilities:

•Personal care (toileting & showering assistance)
•Cooking and cleaning




•Community access and engagement
•Manual handling
•Medication assistance
•PEG feeding and NIV management

Ideal Candidate:

•Enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate
•Solid understanding of person-centred care
•Confident working with complex support needs
•Experience with manual handling (Hoists, slide sheets etc)
