This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in workplace health and safety who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You'll be joining a business that is continuing to grow, led by approachable and supportive owners who genuinely invest in their people. Rather than being permanently site based, this position offers a predominantly office-based working environment with occasional visits to projects across Sydney.

With a competitive salary package of up to $145k + super, this is a great opportunity to develop your career and grow alongside an ambitious business.

The Opportunity

As Safety Advisor, you'll play an important role in supporting the business's safety systems, processes and day-to-day operations.

- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of WHS systems and procedures
- Provide practical safety advice and guidance to management and operational teams

- Conduct occasional site inspections and safety audits
- Support incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with relevant WHS legislation and company procedures
- Coordinate safety inductions, training and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate safety records, registers and reporting
- Work closely with operational teams to identify and manage workplace risks
- Promote a positive safety culture across the business
- Identify opportunities to improve existing safety processes as the business grows

About You

To succeed, you will bring:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Safety Advisor or similar WHS role
- Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety
- Experience working within construction, infrastructure or a related project environment
- Sound knowledge of NSW WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience preparing and reviewing safety documentation, risk assessments and SWMS
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across different teams
- Confidence providing practical safety advice to management and operational personnel
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- A proactive, approachable attitude and genuine interest in improving workplace safety
- Willingness to undertake occasional site visits across Sydney

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of a growing business, contribute ideas and continue developing their career.

The Perks

- A salary package up to $145k + super
- Sydney-based position with occasional site visits
- Join a rapidly growing business with exciting plans for the future
- Work directly with supportive and approachable business owners
- Genuine opportunities for career progression as the business expands
- Predominantly office-based position rather than a full-time site role
- Opportunity to influence and improve safety systems and processes
- Autonomy to take ownership of your responsibilities
- Supportive team environment where your contribution will be valued
- Long-term career opportunity with a business investing in its people
