Student placement - Admissions

Location

For this placement, you would be based at Richmond. Students on placement will need to have a valid police check and Working with Children Check

Eligibility

- Undergraduate - Social Work

Placement

Under supervision, your placement would include opportunities to undertake, observe or assist with:

- providing engagement, assessment, treatment and support services to individuals and their families
- Facilitating client admissions through:

- assessing client suitability

- participating in preparation and support groups

- consulting with other services as appropriate

- Providing support and targeted interventions to enhance the client's engagement and retention in treatment
