About the Role

Working directly with our team and clients, you will be involved in a diverse range of accounting and taxation assignments, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your experience grows.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and other entities.

- Assisting with BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations.

- Managing client accounting and bookkeeping matters using Xero.

- Assisting with SMSF accounting and compliance using BGL.

- Liaising with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and deliver quality outcomes.

- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and contributing to the overall success of the practice.

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and eager to grow with our firm.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 2-3 years of experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.

- A degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

- Be near completion of,



or currently progressing towards, your CA or CPA qualification.

- Practical experience using Xero and BGL.

- A sound understanding of Australian accounting, taxation and compliance requirements.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients.

- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
