Join Mancala on a specialist ground support rehabilitation project in Northern Tasmania.

The Mancala Group is seeking experienced Ground Support Miners / Drillers for an immediate start on a rehabilitation project located approximately one hour from Devonport.

Working as part of a skilled and experienced crew, you will be involved in ground support installation and rehabilitation activities in a challenging work environment requiring a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Handheld drilling operations
Installation of rock bolts and mesh
Ground support rehabilitation works
Working at heights
Secure operation of equipment and tools
Adhering to site safety standards and procedures
Working effectively as part of a small project team

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
Previous mining, civil, tunnelling or ground support experience
Handheld drilling experience
Experience installing rock bolts and mesh
Current Work at Heights certification
Current White Card




Ability to complete site-specific inductions
Valid Australian Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
Australian working rights

Desirable Qualifications
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
Current First Aid certificate
Additional mining or construction-related competencies
