Parks and Gardens Labourer
About the role

Staffpower is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Parks and Gardens Labourer to join our client's team at a local Albury site.

This is a casual prospect offering a consistent 38-hour week, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces, gardens and landscaped areas while working as part of a dedicated team.

If you enjoy working outdoors, have a practical approach to work and take pride in maintaining clean and well-presented spaces, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing
Carrying out general gardening and landscaping duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and mulching
Maintaining gardens, lawns and landscaped areas
Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery
Planting and maintaining horticultural products
Removing debris, litter, leaves and other waste materials
Assisting with cleaning duties, including oil spill clean-up when required
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions




Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a high standard of work

What we're looking for
Previous experience in parks and gardens, gardening, landscaping or a similar role
Knowledge of gardening techniques and the safe use of equipment
A current and valid driver's licence
A current White Card
Valuable physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour
Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly regarded:
Current excavator and/or loader tickets
Experience operating small plant and machinery
