Deploy & maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Our client, a major Federal Government department responsible for immigration, citizenship, border security, national security, cyber policy and social cohesion, require the services of a Citrix Systems Administrator.

Duties of the Citrix Systems Administrator
Installation, management & support of desktop virtualisation technologies (Microsoft & Citrix);
Design, install, configure, maintain, support and optimise of ICT systems & supporting infrastructure;
Administration of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops;
Administration Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy, File & Print &/or WSUS;
Scripting (PowerShell, Python, PERL, Bash, Batch, or VBScript).

Skills and Experience Required
Demonstrated experience in deploying and maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, VMware Horizon, or Azure Virtual Desktop;
Diploma or higher qualification in the field of Information Technology;




IT industry certifications or relevant industry experience;
Citrix related experience and/or certifications would be highly advantageous.
