Project Designs Airconditioning is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Airconditioning & Refrigeration Mechanical Plumber and apprentice to join our team. This role offers the prospect to work alongside experienced industry professionals, gaining practical engineering knowledge combined with on-site hands-on experience in the commercial HVAC sector.
Key responsibilities
Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, analyze and repair various types of HVAC and mechanical services equipment
Perform service, breakdown and preventative maintenance activities across industrial and commercial sites
Carry out proactive repair works when necessary
Carry out mechanical inspections and maintenance on equipment to bring them to optimal performance
About you
Hands on experience with repairs, emergency breakdowns and maintenance on a variety of HVAC assets in commercial and industrial settings
Trade Qualification – Cert III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration (dual trade HVAC/Electrical would be an advantage)
Restricted Electrical Licence (Full Electrical Licence an advantage)
Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience on commercial sites
Current Refrigeration Handling Licence
Current Driver's Licence
Self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
