About the role

As Tax Manager, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of taxation and compliance services, providing technical guidance to the team and maintaining the high standards our clients expect. This position is designed as a pathway to a future Tax Consultant role and would suit an experienced tax skilled looking to further develop their technical expertise while helping shape the future of the profession.

Key responsibilities
Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and compliance work
Managing workflow, resource planning and lodgement deadlines
Researching and resolving complex taxation matters
Reviewing technical advice and supporting Directors on complex client matters
Coaching, mentoring and developing team members
Ensuring quality, accuracy and continuous improvement across the team
Supporting recruitment, training and broader business initiatives

About you
CA or CPA qualification (essential)
Extensive experience within a Business Services & Tax team in a public practice accounting firm
Strong technical taxation knowledge
Experience reviewing work and leading or mentoring accounting teams
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
