Social Media Content Creator, Contract

AD Media | 14–16 hours per week | Hybrid | Surry Hills
AD Media is looking for a creative social media content creator to develop organic content for two clients and our own channels. One client is a Jewish not-for-profit organisation and the other is an e-commerce brand.

You’ll bring ideas to the table, create engaging content and adapt your approach to suit each client’s audience and tone. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn a valuable idea into a well-made Reel, thoughtful caption or engaging post.

What you’ll do
Develop fresh content ideas and contribute to social media planning
Create and edit Reels and other short-form video
Write engaging captions in each brand’s tone of voice
Adapt relevant trends thoughtfully for different clients
Work collaboratively and communicate clearly through feedback and approvals

What you’ll bring
At least two years’ experience creating organic social media content
Experience working with not-for-profit and commercial clients, such as skilled services, finance or e-commerce brands




Confidence filming and editing Reels
A creative eye, robust writing skills and an understanding of different audiences
Reliability, initiative and a professional approach to client work
The right to work in Australia for the duration of the engagement

The role is approximately 14–20 hours per week, with flexibility in how the hours are arranged. It’s hybrid, with our Surry Hills office as a base. Daily coffee is included when you’re in the office.

Contract rate: $40-$45 per hour, excluding GST. GST will be added if applicable. Superannuation will be paid where legally required.
