Laffos Bar and Pizzeria is located in Caneland Central Shopping Centre in Mackay QLD 4740. Our family-owned business with family values offers multiple full time permanent positions for Chefs/Cooks for a 40hr working week with any overtime paid.

Market-market-market-competitive salary + Super/per An. Paid Weekly, with room for growth.

Chefs duties will include:
Planning menus and Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Establishing food and labor costs
Ordering food supplies
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
Enforcing hygiene regulations
Select and train staff

Cooks duties will include:
Food preparation and sanitation
Cooking according to exact recipes and standards




Seasoning and portioning food
Proficiency with using cooking tools and equipment

The skills (qualification) or experience required for the position
Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery with minimum 1 year of experience in a fast paced kitchen
Ability to work weekends, public holidays and nights
