GHDS is seeking a qualified and reliable Driving Instructor / Trainer and Assessor to join our team on a contract basis.

You’ll need current driving instructor accreditation in Queensland or Recent South Wales, robust communication skills and a passion for helping learners become protected, confident drivers.

About the role
Deliver practical driving instruction tailored to each learner’s needs.
Assess learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback within the scope of your qualifications and authorisations.
Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
Follow relevant road rules, safety requirements and GHDS procedures.
Communicate professionally with learners and the GHDS team.

What we’re looking for




Current driving instructor accreditation in Queensland or New South Wales.
A current driver licence appropriate to the vehicle classes you will teach.
Relevant training and assessment qualifications or authorisations.
A patient, supportive and safety-focused teaching style.
Reliability, good time management and the ability to work independently.
Availability to work on a contract basis

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
