Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team in the hospitality and catering industry. This part time role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency while supporting our chefs in food preparation. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests by upholding high standards of hygiene and organisation.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of food items as directed by the chefs
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
Wash and sanitise kitchen utensils, equipment, and surfaces
Support the chefs during service by ensuring timely availability of ingredients
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist with stock management and inventory control




Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred
Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
