Sonographer - Job Description:

The Walk-In Specialist Emergency (WiSE) Clinic has been established to provide greater choice to patients in how they access urgent medical care. Experts in emergency medicine are available to provide comprehensive, coordinated urgent care in non-life-threatening situations – from initial consultation and diagnostic services to treatment and specialist referral if required – without the patient having to visit a hospital.

WiSE is seeking passionate Sonographers to join our growing, collaborative team.

Flexible working hours. Practice is open 7 days 10am-10pm.





We are offering a casual or permanent people to join our growing team.

Rate is starting amount dependent on contract and experience.

Essential Criteria for Sonographers:
At least 3 years' postgraduate experience
Competent in general, vascular, obstetric, and musculoskeletal ultrasound
Current ASAR Registration
Robust knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic techniques
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software
Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly
Commitment to ongoing career development and education

Desirable Criteria:
Experience with paediatric and small parts ultrasound
Previous experience in an emergency or rapid-paced clinical environment
Advanced certification in specialised ultrasound techniques
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior staff
